The Public School Foundation is organizing a book drive to support summer literacy programs. Now through the middle of April, please donate gently used and new books for ages PreK - 8th grade to support this effort. You may drop off your book donations in the front lobby.

Raptor parents and guardians: Drop by the Rashkis Library on Tuesday, March 19, to enjoy pastries and casual conversation with Principal Pressley! This is an informal event, so come any time between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.

First 2024 CHCCS Graduates Receive Diplomas
The first graduation ceremony of the new year took place on Friday morning, January 26 in the newly refurbished gym of Phoenix Academy High School. Eight students from PAHS and the Virtual Learning Academy received their diplomas in front of family, friends, school staff and CHCCS leaders. Another cohort of classmates will graduate in June 2024.

2024 Equity Symposium Raises the Bar
The 2024 Equity Symposium raised the bar and challenged the minds and hearts of nearly 120 CHCCS educators during a six hour event on Saturday, January 13.

Welcome to Youth Leaders in Music!
On most Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:00 at East Chapel Hill High School (ECHHS), the halls are alive with the sound of music! If the weather is pleasant, musicians spill onto the lawns in pairs and trios, mentors and mentees, high school students and middle school students.

Four Board of Education Members Sworn In December 7
The Board Room in Lincoln Center was packed beyond standing room only on the evening of December 7. Re-elected Board of Education member Rani Dasi and three new Board members, Vickie Feaster Fornville, Meredith Ballew and Barbara Fedders, were officially sworn-in, an evening that proved to be both solemn and festive.
