Mrs. Fletcher Kieckbusch, Career Development Coordinator

Mrs. Kieckbusch has been at ECHHS since 2007. Prior to ECHHS, Mrs. Kieckbusch was the CDC at a Wake County middle school and an interim school counselor and teacher assisant at Chapel Hill High School.

Mrs. Kieckbusch supports all ECHHS students, with a particular focus on students in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. The CDC facilitates linkages between parents, business/industry, postsecondary institutions, military, and community organizations to support the transition to postsecondary education and/or employment.

The CIC provides career awareness through career exploration, assessments, research, and planning. We provide information on occupations, the labor market, non-traditional careers, and other post secondary information including assisting students with researching educational programs and employment opportunities.

We also facilitate work-based learning opportunities and coordinate student activities to develop employability skills.  We assist students with selecting appropriate academic and CTE courses, as well as promote the integration of career research and work-based learning opportunities into CTE and academic courses.

Mrs. Kieckbusch is a native of Carrboro and a product of Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools. She and her husband have two children, a son and a daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading to her kids, laughing, gardening, the beach, the mountains and dark chocolate.
