A great place to get started is with our Parent Handbooks (available in English and Spanish). The Parent Handbooks contain information about ways to visit your school, methods to contact school personnel, how to schedule conferences, and where and how to get help when you need it. They are a great guide to interacting with your school.

Another way to become familiar with your school is to get involved. We offer a number of opportunities to become active in your child's education, like mentoring, volunteering in classrooms, serving on school committees, contributing to our Public School Foundation, and more.
