Dr. Jon Dixon, Principal

Dr. Jon Dixon - CHCCS Virtual Academy (VLA) Principal

Dr. Dixon is a 25-year veteran NC educator, having served Granville, Franklin, and Durham Counties, before joining the CHCCS team.

Jon first served NC students and families as an Exceptional Children's Teacher for almost 10 years, with a focus on meeting the individualized needs of students, and providing a holistic education to help them realize their goals and dreams.

After his tenure as a teacher, Dr. Dixon pursued additional education, training, and certifications, so that he could continue to serve students as a school administrator.

Jon is excited to be a part of the CHCCS team, and looks forward to working with Virtual Academy students and families this year!
